My take on the ancient Ukrainian folk song that became a Christmas staple, is out today.
You can watch it on Youtube or Facebook. If you enjoy it, please let me know by leaving a comment or sharing it with others. That human feedback means so much when I release something new.
The original lyrics are about seeing the first swallow of the new year, bringing hope that winter must soon be over. I reinterpreted the music, so when I play it live I introduce it with a different title, 'Shchedryk v Hrad' - Hrad is the Ukrainian word for hailstorm. I drew the swallow fighting through a storm, and you can get it as a T-shirt or art print.

And I've made detailed guitar tab and a 93-minute lesson video for those plucky heroes who want to try it for themselves.
Shchedryk is streaming now on all music platforms. Find it here: https://jongomm.ffm.to/shchedryk-carolofthebells
Bootcamp 2026 is go!
My first camp was a dream week - I still can't believe how perfect the venue, the vibe from the students, the tutors all were. So… I'm doing it again!

This year Thomas Leeb and I are very lucky to have fingerstyle masters Pino Forastiere and Chris Woods joining us as tutors. Registration and all the info you could possibly need is here: https://jongomm.com/bootcamp
Some gigs, and more coming soon…
Travelling wise, I'm taking my foot off the gas for the next few months, cos I have more new songs that I'm desperate to record and release. But there's a few to mention, and more will be confirmed soon so please keep an eye on https://jongomm.com/shows, or follow me on BandsInTown to get notified if I head your way.

So rather than losing my sanity out on the road, now I need help to keep sane because I'm at home and missing the sight and sound and smell of real people! So please remember, there's no question too silly, no greeting too random, no comment too trivial that I wouldn't love to see it posted by you on my socials.
Love from
