Blown away to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at Ards International Guitar Festival this weekend. Look, it's my guitar case! The one everyone sent me stickers for. Immortalised in ceramic by artist Andrew Cooke. I was completely stunned, and a bit tearful to be honest. I'm so grateful to everyone at the festival for chipping away at my insecurity and forcing me to accept that maybe I'm not completely crap. 

I told my mum, she said "That'll look nice on my mantelpiece." I told her to win her own f**king award. (Don't panic, that's how we roll, my mum is the best.)
